A Girl And Her Horse

We've had a virus running through our house, so I can honestly say that making a blog post was lower on my priority list. It finally seems to have moved on out of our house. Thank goodness! I've got many photos to share of the goats, but I had to share a video of this sweet little gal. She has just recently (like in the past month) decided to try to do barrels with her horse. He's a Paso Fino, but she wants no other horse to ride. She says that he is her best friend. He has been perfect for her to start out with. I wondered when we first got him, but she's done really well and his temperament is perfect.

This is the 2nd time to ride in an arena and get instruction by those who know what they're doing.  She's catching on pretty fast.  I'm sure our extended family that can't be here to see will appreciate the video :) I'm no videographer, but hopefully this won't make you too motion sick.

Hope you all have a great week!

  1. Awesome job! I have always wanted to have one galloping ride on a horse. I would probably end up with two black eyes from "my girls" bouncing so much, but if I really tamed them down with extra binding, it might just be fun! Glad you are feeling better!
